The Bocconi Library is committed to the goal of the Third Mission through direct relationships with the local community and all its stakeholders. According to the guidelines in Law 240/2010, it promotes scientific dissemination, knowledge transfer, and ties with the local area, as well as support for teaching and research.
As part of a mutual collaboration between the University and community, the events are open to everyone and can be carried out in cooperation with other cultural institutions in the city, contributing to making the Library a cultural, educational and inclusive reference point.
The Library organizes guided tours within the Bocconi campus. There are two types of tours available: a full tour (lasting about two hours with access to some buildings) and a short tour (lasting about one hour, only hekd outdoors). Tours are free and by booking only.
Open to the entire city, campus tours can be booked on a dedicated website (Campus Tour), which contains the schedule. Tours are typically available on certain Saturdays during spring and autumn.
Associations, universities, schools or groups of residents can also contact the Library to request dedicated Campus Tours on dates other than those already scheduled by emailing campustour@unibocconi.it.
The tours are accessible, and it is possible to request assistance during the booking process if needed.
The Bocconi Library and Historical Archives organize virtual exhibitions as a tool for cultural dissemination and distance education, leveraging the richness of their ever-growing collections.
