Bloomberg

Bloomberg is a global financial services platform which provides not only financial data such as equities, company financials, M&A, ESG and indices, but also rich data across market sectors, real-time company news, company overviews and analytics.

In addition, Bloomberg has an Excel add-in which allows you to export data from the terminal to Excel spreadsheets.

Please remember that Bloomberg has a monthly download limit.

On campus

Access to Bloomberg is available from 3 dedicated workstations for individual use only in the Library Databases Room (1st floor – room 110). See opening hours

Reservation is required. Users are allowed to book a 2-hour slot per day. Book your slot

The first time you use Bloomberg you will need to create a new personal account.

From the Bloomberg home page:

1. Click on “Create a new login”
2. Enter your personal information, your Bocconi email address and your phone number for both company number and phone number fields
3. Select your preferences for receiving confirmation of your account from Bloomberg (we suggest you to opt for receiving a OTP via text message)
4. Type in the code received via SMS or phone call to validate your account
5. After validation, your username will be created automatically but you will need to create a password
6. Log in
