Bocconi University considers accessibility a key element of the 2021-2025 strategic plan and has selected relevant resources and tools, available through the Library or freely accessible online, related to accessibility, learning disabilities and mental health.
There are some dedicated services for accessibility for Library Resources:
- Access to the first floor (where Databases room is located) for students with limited mobility with personal badges from the alarmed door at the elevator exit
- 6 Priority seats and dedicated workstations for online catalogue browsing
- Tailored delivery and loan of print material
- Online delivery of accessible digital material thanks to the accreditation as "Entità Autorizzata" by the Ministry of Culture (DPCM 6 luglio 2020)
- Sensus Access: application for converting documents and web pages into accessible formats
- Video magnifier and reading software
- the possibility to search in the discovery SearchLib via microphone
- free add-ons offered for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox (present also using the Library's computers in the reading rooms).
