Circular Economy

Introduction

Global challenges of resource scarcity, climate change and biodiversity loss are pushing societies towards the adoption of circular economy principles, such as eliminate waste and pollution, keep products and materials in use, and regenerate natural systems (Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2021). In line with goal 12 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, sustainable development requires a radical change in the way goods and resources are produced and consumed, establishing a system where resources can be used and reused in a continuous cycle.

Bocconi Library supports the UN 2030 Agenda through the project Pick your goal!, which promotes dedicated services and resources to meet the research and learning needs of the Community.
