Not sure how to start your search and what’s the best app for your needs?
Type “SRCH” in the search box to get to the “Search & Discovery Tool” page: here you can find all the links to the major search screens for several asset classes.
Looking for information on a specific company?
Type the name of the company you wish to search for in the blue search bar and select the most relevant result:
Company information is organised in different categories (news, financials, ESG, etc.). Explore the horizontal menu and simply click on the relevant tab:
Would you like to create and customize a list of companies or deals? You can use the app "Screener".
In the left column, use "Universe" to select your field of interest and apply filters to define your search.
Do you need to download historical or forecast data? You can use the add-in “Workspace” > ”Datastream”:
Please note: if you are using Datastream from your own personal account, there is a monthly download limit of 10 millions datapoints. Untick the option “auto-refresh” from the Datastream Formula window to save data!
Or “Workspace” > “Build Formula”:
The add-in (with Build Formula and Datastream) will be automatically integrated in Excel when downloading LSEG Workspace desktop version on a Windows PC.
