Course Reserves (Textbooks)

Course Reserves for Faculty

Course Reserves (Textbooks) is the new Library tool for managing reading lists and citations, and is also integrated with our Library Management System, our search engine SearchLib and with Blackboard, the Content Management System currently in use in Bocconi University.

At the beginning of every academic year, the Library creates  reading lists for the new courses of Bocconi Undergraduate, Graduate and Law Schools, previously activated on Blackboard.

Each reading list, or bibliography, consists of one or several citations, e.g. textbooks, academic papers, print books, and so on.

Instructors can enrich the reading lists of their courses, by:

  • Searching for academic resources in the Library print and online collections
  • Submitting purchase or licenses requests for relevant course materials not owned by the Library (case studies, updated editions of textbooks, etc.)
  • Asking the Library to digitize articles or book chapters in compliance with intellectual property regulations
