Course Reserves (Textbooks)

Getting started. Login to Course Reserves (Textbooks)

Course Reserves (Textbooks) is dedicated to our current students, faculty and designated staff members. In order to start working on their reading lists, instructors will need to authenticate with their Bocconi credentials.

From Blackboard, login with your Bocconi User ID and password. From the side menu on the right, choose one of your courses from the "My courses" section to start working on the reading list.

Here is a Library sample course:

In the Course Content homepage, you will find the list of all the edtech tools, activated by default in Blackboard before the start of the academic year, to support your teaching, including our tool Course Reserves (Textbooks):

Click on:

  • Library Course Reserves (Textbooks), to start working on your reading list or
  • Library - Help, to find useful links and contacts about the Library Course Reserves (Textbooks) service

How does a reading list look like?

Here is a sample reading list.

At the top of the window, you will find the following information:

  • Reading list name, which is assigned by the Library staff
  • Publication status, whether the list is visible by students or is still in draft
  • Course name and course code, with which the list is associated
  • Other list info (particularly, names of instructors and collaborators associated with the course)

Further down, instead, you will find the options for:

  • Searching within the reading list

  • Applying filters to browse the reading list

  • Managing the sections of the reading list

  • Adding items, sections or notes to the reading list
