Consultation of the Bocconi Historical Archives is available to both the Bocconi Community and external users.
The Consultation Room is located on the first floor of the Library, in Room 101, and the service is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
To ensure effective service (checking the physical condition of materials, retrieving them from the storage room, exclusive booking of the Consultation Room), appointments are required and should be arranged via email at archivistorici@unibocconi.it, specifying the subject and purpose of the research. Before access, it is necessary to complete the online form.
Access to the Consultation Room of the Historical Archives does not include the right to use the Library’s services.
Consultation of archival materials takes place under the supervision and assistance of dedicated staff.
Users are also required to follow certain rules of conduct during a consultation or visit, respecting spaces, things and people:
It is possible to request the reproduction of consulted material, or take scans and photographs independently during the consultation. The staff will authorize the request after evaluating the specific case (condition of the material, confidentiality of the document, presence of rights, etc.).
All material published on the ASBOC portal - Bocconi University Historical Archives is available for use according to the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, unless otherwise indicated.
It is possible to request guided tours of the Historical Archives - both for groups and individuals - as well as activities in collaboration with schools, by sending an email to archivistorici@unibocconi.it, specifying the number of participants and the requested language.
Visits to the Historical Archives can also be included within campus tours and Library tours (Third Mission and Social Impact).
